Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Wyandotte, MI is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for per diem/PRN night shifts. The role offers a base pay of $43.00 per hour with night and weekend differentials and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, delivering respiratory care, and supporting quality improvement efforts. Active NBRC credential, BLS, and state licensure are required; ACLS is needed on hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold Active CRT or RRT NBRC or state credential.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
