Job summary

UW Medical Center-Montlake seeks an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide per diem, pediatric to geriatric care in ICU, ED and acute care areas.

Under general supervision, you will assess, implement and evaluate respiratory treatments, collaborate with other disciplines, and ensure safe, continuous care from admission to discharge. Washington-licensed RCP preferred. Seattle-based position.

Qualifications

• Completion of a respiratory care program approved by the State of Washington DOH or equivalent education/experience.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the respiratory care process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate safe, therapeutic care for patients of all ages.
• Make independent judgments and take action on routine and complex patient issues.
• Collaborate with disciplines to ensure continuity of care from admission through discharge.
