Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Residential Advisor to work per diem, partnering with residents in daily activities and promoting a supportive environment. The role includes counseling, documentation, medication logs, and safety procedures.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid within 60 days, valid PA driver’s license, and direct care experience preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• First Aid Certification required within 60 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and maintenance of good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Partner with residents in independent living skills (cooking, menu planning, shopping, money management, cleaning, laundry, personal hygiene).
• Coach and supervise residents in daily activities and arrange transportation when needed.
• Provide recovery-oriented counseling with active listening techniques.
• Maintain documentation of resident activity and progress.
• Maintain medication logs and conduct safety procedures (drills, safe food storage).
• Ensure cleanliness of assigned areas and report any safety issues.
