Per Diem Registered Nurse, Surgical Center

Location: Bedford, NH

Coverage: Staff must be available for a minimum of two shifts per month. Coverage is primarily needed during surgery week, which occurs one week each month, Monday through Friday, during egg retrievals. Shifts begin at 7:00 a.m. and end after the last case is completed. Each day averages 5-9 cases, with each case lasting approximately 30 minutes. Additional hours may be available for embryo transfers scheduled outside of surgery week.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care to patients undergoing advanced reproductive technology (ART) and ovulation induction (O.I.), following them through their journey including O.R./PACU area
• Work in conjunction with other nurses, medical assistants, advanced practice providers, physicians, laboratory personnel, O.R./PACU, administrative assistants and receptionists to ensure the smooth daily flow of the clinical practice.
