RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) in Radiology at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. This on-site role requires an active NJ RN license, ACLS, PALS, and BLS.

The position offers a per diem schedule with one 7.5-hour shift per month and two on-call shifts monthly, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety. You will perform patient assessments, administer evidence-based care, document thoroughly in EPIC, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nursing experience in Radiology.
• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing from an accredited school of nursing.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and competently.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practitioners to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families to prepare for next steps in care.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team communication.
• Contribute to a collaborative, safety-conscious care environment.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must have 2+ years of nursing experience in Radiology, hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing from an accredited school of nursing, hold an ACLS certification, PALS certification, and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A bachelor's degree in nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a per diem schedule: 1 (one) 7.5 hour shift per month and 2 (two) on-call shifts per month.
