Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. The nurse will work with the healthcare team to monitor patients, administer medications, educate patients, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications include RN licensure, a graduate of an accredited nursing program, BLS, and a plan to complete BSN within five years if ASN holder. At least 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• ASN must complete BSN studies within five years.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in nursing or relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assess, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse

BLS certification
