Position Summary:

We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU, Night shift. The successful candidate will practice according to ANA standards, utilize clinical expertise to deliver safe, patient-centered care, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
2. Perform other duties as assigned.
3. Practice in an environmentally safe manner.
4. Evaluate personal nursing practice against standards and regulations.
5. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
6. Demonstrate leadership and effective communication.
7. Contribute to quality nursing practice and integrate evidence-based findings.
8. Maintain current knowledge and practice ethically.
9. Evaluate progress towards outcomes and employ strategies to promote health and safety.
10. Coordinate and implement care plans, developing strategies and identifying expected outcomes tailored to each patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required for hires after 9/1/2020; previous hires are grandfathered), valid NY State RN license, BLS certification, knowledge of patient care standards, excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, and 1-2 years of nursing experience.

Required Licenses:

Registered Nurse License - NYS
