Qualifications

• CT RN license required; BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience.
• American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient assessment and reassessment as clinically indicated.
• Documents detailed information incorporating the plan of care, interventions and outcomes.
• Coordinates and supervises the delivery of nursing care, including delegation of tasks.
• Promotes a culture of safety; conducts bedside shift reports and handoffs.
