Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Registered Dietitian for PRN/Per Diem coverage. You will provide medical nutrition therapy, collaborate with the care team and monitor nutrition plans for critically ill patients.

The role offers orientation and opportunities for advancement; PRN positions align with 401k eligibility after 1,000 hours within the first year, within a national network committed to high-quality inpatient care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as RD is required.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential (CDR) is required.
• One year of clinical experience in a facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nutritional care to patients with development and monitoring of medical nutrition therapies.
• Collaborate with medical staff, patients, families and food service to implement nutrition plans.
• Perform nutritional assessments and re-assessments to set goals and monitor progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support regimens.
• Work with Speech Therapy to advance textured modified diets for safety and intake.
• Ensure orders align with the nutrition support formulary and diet manual.
