Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• CADE coursework approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
• Registered Dietitian credential from AND and Florida licensure required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on nutrition topics
• Document dietary assessments and nutrition care plans in the medical record
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with physicians and care teams
• Serve as a nutrition consultant and advocate for patient wellness
• Review current research and support updates to menus and standards of care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach
• Ensure compliance with Orlando Health policies and regulatory standards
