Redefine Healthcare in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Tech to join our growing team. This per diem position involves high-quality imaging, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary group to deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in radiologic technology, proven X-ray experience, and strong patient handling skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an X-ray technician.
• Working knowledge of radiographic equipment.
• Ability to move or lift patients.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are ready for scheduled procedures.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working condition prior to imaging.
• Position/reposition equipment and process fluoroscopy images.
• Daily C-arm cleaning and general maintenance.
• Maintain QA for Radiology Department: daily warm-up, phantom images, QA testing/logs.
• Review radiation monitoring devices and reports monthly.
• Investigate exposures outside acceptable limits.
• Perform standard x-ray imaging as ordered.
• Other radiology-related tasks as assigned.
