Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using radiographic equipment in inpatient, outpatient, or emergency settings, under the general direction of the Manager. You will explain safety protocols to patients, ensure accurate imaging, and work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team across designated radiography areas.

ARRT certification is required within 180 days of hire, and a state Radiologic Technologist license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Other Certificate/Diploma Radiography required and Associate's Degree Radiography preferred
• ARRT registration desired within 180 days of hire
• Radiologic Technologist state license required

Responsabilités

• Confirms correct patient and exam through patient confirmation, history, and records.
• Explains exams to patients, considering language needs; ensures compliance.
• Adjusts imaging equipment to proper technical factors for safe imaging.
• Performs imaging according to department protocol and radiologist request.
• Ensures correct labeling and successful transmission of images to PACS
