Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technologist for North Houston to perform radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic studies in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure patient safety, and document exam details in RIS/PACS under supervision.

The role requires ARRT (R) eligibility, MRT certification, and BLS. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse patient populations are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT (R) registry.
• Graduate Technologist designation as defined by the Texas Medical Board.
• Employee must attain ARRT(R) and MRT.
• General Certificate Status within one year of eligibility OR ARRT (R).
• MRT-General Certificate.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography to include fluoroscopic studies per department policies and protocols.
• Participates in Technical Quality Control measures including routine equipment maintenance and documenting issues.
• Uses RIS correctly and documents atypical conditions for radiologist review.
• Assists with PACS and image transmission troubleshooting.
• Maintains radiation safety measures and sterile technique when necessary.
• Participates in training programs and maintains applicable licenses/certifications.
• Interacts effectively with patients and coworkers and communicates with supervision and radiologists.
