Responsibilities include positioning patients, selecting factors for image quality, transmitting images to PACS/EMR, and maintaining equipment and rooms.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• New York State Radiologic Technology Permit can be accepted in lieu of NYS License.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently per protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Review images for technical quality prior to submission to PACS/EMR.
• Maintain imaging area cleanliness and readiness of rooms, equipment, and supplies.
