Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Registered Radiology Tech for the Outpatient Imaging office in White Oak, MD. The role supports patient care using radiographic imaging per protocol while maintaining ALARA standards.

Responsibilities include patient prep, imaging, documentation in HIS/RIS/PACS, and assisting with training staff. Requires ARRT certification and MD licensure, with a per diem schedule and 45/hour pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA/JRCERT accredited radiography program or an associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification required or eligible.
• MD radiation technologist license preferred/required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging studies per protocol and review orders.
• Document accurately in HIS, RIS, PACS and other systems.
• Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after examinations.
• Apply ALARA principles and shielding to protect patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional behavior.
• Assist with training radiography students and orient new staff.
• Collaborate with care team to expedite exams and support patient relations.
