Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of acute-care radiology experience.
- Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification required.
- BLS preferred; vaccination/immunity documentation required or preferred.
- TB screening test (Quantiferon-TB Gold or T-SPOT) completed within the past year.
- MMR and Varicella immunity evidenced by titers or records.
- A physical exam completed within the past year.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity during each procedure.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment.
- Follow radiation-safety standards and infection-control procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members.
- Accurately document procedures and patient information.
- Provide professional, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
