First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking Radiologic Technologists for per diem hospital opportunities in Arlington, Virginia. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, produce high-quality images, and ensure patient safety during fast-paced acute-care shifts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent acute-care radiologic experience
• Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification preferred
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold or T-SPOT test completed within the past year
• Documentation of MMR and Varicella immunity through titers or vaccination records
• A physical examination completed within the past year

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout each procedure
• Properly operate and maintain radiologic equipment
• Follow radiation-safety standards and infection-control procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Provide professional, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute-care environment
