Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Illinois seeks a Radiation Therapy professional to administer treatments per physician plans. You will reproduce setups, maintain patient contact, and ensure accurate electronic charting in IMPAC. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and ongoing QA with the Radiation Oncology team.

Per diem, dayshift, on-site at Sherman Hospital; licensing and BLS certification are required, with ARRT or IDNS credentials highly preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry-eligible or ARRT license.
• IDNS license.
• BLS certified.
• Radiation Oncology Certificate or AS degree in Radiation Therapy Technology.

Responsibilities

• Administers Radiation Therapy treatments per physician prescription and treatment plan.
• Reproduces treatment setup in the treatment room with positioning aides.
• Maintains visual and audible contact with patients at all times.
• Reports errors to the Supervisor, Radiation Oncology.
• Keeps accurate treatment records in IMPAC electronic chart.
• Performs and records daily QA checks on equipment.
