Job summary

City of Hope seeks a Radiation Therapist I/II for per diem coverage in Radiation Oncology. Under radiation oncologist supervision, you will deliver MRI-simulated and planned radiation therapy using MRIdian and Ethos systems. Shifts may include evenings/nights/holidays with on-call expectations.

You must be licensed in California, ARRT CRT certified, and have 3+ years for RT II (or less for RT I). ARIA experience is highly preferred; BLS/CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the California State Department of Health in Radiation Therapy.
• ARD/ARRT CRT certification required.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
• 3+ years if Radiation Therapist II; 0-3 years for I with progression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed and planned radiation therapy to patients of all ages.
• Operate MRI control console for patient scans and imaging techniques.
• Reinforce care instructions regarding treatment and side effects.
• Perform simulation procedures and assist in dosimetry procedures.
• Perform diagnostic equipment testing and quality assurance as appropriate.
• Experience with ARIA is highly preferred.
