Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Per Diem Public Safety Officer to help maintain a safe environment on and off-campus. You will monitor and respond to emergent situations using sound judgment and patient-centered care.

The role offers opportunities for ongoing education through MLH Education & Development classes, with feedback and growth facilitated by your manager through performance appraisals and regular 1:1 discussions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting or security/customer service-related field preferred.
• Must possess strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in MS Office Word and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on- and off-campus surveillance to maintain a safe environment.

Experience

• Experience in a healthcare setting or security/customer service-related field preferred.
• Must possess strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in MS Office Word and Outlook.

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Licensures/Certifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record for the last ten years.
• Must be certified or eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235).
• Must complete Managing of Aggressive Behavior or MOAB parts 1, 2 & 3 within four months of employment.
