Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient treatment under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in implementation and modification of treatment plans to promote outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the PT.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in exercise programs and safe mobility.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and treatment provided.
• Adhere to facility policies including safety and infection control standards.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service training as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
