Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Per Diem position. The role offers $35.00 per hour and a $7,500 sign-on bonus, reflecting our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, you will assist with therapy plan implementation and coordinate with support staff to ensure quality patient care. Minimum qualifications include PTA licensure/eligibility and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care.
• Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients, in order to enhance patient care services.
• Consistently communicates with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients and needed assessments or modifications to treatment plans.
• Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice.
