Job summary

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under supervision.
• Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care services.
• Communicate with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment and reassessment of patients, and modification of treatment plans.
• Participate in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Perform other professional duties within the scope of practice.
