Job summary

Regency Hospital - Toledo in Sylvania, OH is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled PT services under supervision, covering shifts at Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed.

The role involves assisting the delivery of therapy services, implementing treatment plans, and helping patients reach long-term goals with coordination under the PT. Per diem flexibility is a key feature of this position.

Qualifications

• Valid state PTA license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of physical therapy services including transportation, therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist.
• Assist the PT in carrying out therapeutic interventions to meet long-term patient goals.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices.
