Job summary

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a per diem/PRN role. You will work with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plans, administering modalities, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team to promote residents’ independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments and modalities as prescribed.
• Monitor and record resident progress and report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive care and communication.
• Participate in resident education to promote independence and well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapy department.
