Job summary

Walden Behavioral Care in Massachusetts is seeking Registered Nurses for Per Diem shifts across all units. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, collaborate with the treatment team, and support residents’ health and safety.

Shifts include Days, Evenings and Nights with pay ranging from $43.90 to $64.70 per hour depending on experience. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to work with diverse clinical teams are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• CPR certification required prior to employment.
• Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the quality of nursing care provided to residents.
• Document resident information in a timely manner.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments including biopsychosocial history.
• Assess vital signs and report abnormalities to Medical Staff.
• Enter medication orders in the EHR and maintain MAR.
• Administer medications safely and evaluate patient responses.
• Act as charge nurse as assigned.
