Job summary

Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is seeking per diem Registered Nurses to join our team. Openings on all shifts with pay ranging from $42 to $47 per hour and shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends. Weekly pay is offered.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or school is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Current and active RN license in the state.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Follow physician’s orders and render complete nursing care, treatments, dressings and other orders.
• Transcribe physician’s orders accurately and promptly.
• Review and document resident records and nursing notes daily.
• Visit residents daily to evaluate needs and adjust care as needed.
• Administer medications according to procedures and maintain drug safety.
