Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a Professional Development Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year in Florida, with per diem hours and a hybrid schedule.

You will lead planning conferences, coach teachers, and design sample lessons, supporting literacy, math, STEM, and blended learning. The role requires a Florida teaching certificate, 5 years of PD delivery and coaching experience, and strong communication skills. Flexible, year-round or summer options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field is required.
• 5 years of experience delivering professional development workshops to adult educators.
• 5 years of experience coaching teachers and/or school leaders.

Responsibilities

• Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences that unleash educator creativity.
• Coach, train, and mentor teachers individually/one-on-one.
• Craft creative example lessons that captivate students.
• Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed.
• Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
• Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant discussions.
• Ensure educator development is completed successfully.
• Provide report documentation as required.
