Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a Professional Development Specialist to support teachers and school leaders in the North FL Duval and South GA area. This per diem role begins in the 2026-2027 school year and offers flexible schedules to fit school needs, with competitive per diem pay.

You will coach, train, and mentor educators, design engaging lessons, and lead workshops, while promoting literacy, math, STEM, and blended learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Experience teaching math, literacy, science or other relevant curriculum.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate required.
• 5 years of experience delivering professional development workshops to adult educators.
• 5 years of experience coaching teachers and/or school leaders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences that unleash the creative potential of educators.
• Coach, train, and mentor teachers individually/one-on-one.
• Craft creative example lessons that captivate students.
• Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed.
• Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
• Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant open discussions.
• Ensure all educator development is completed successfully.
• Provide report documentation as required.
• Communicate actively with directors regarding activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
