Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy per physician orders and monitor patient status.
• Manage central lines and ports; ensure sterile technique.
• Perform IV insertions, blood draws and peripheral line care.
• Monitor fluids, electrolytes, and nutrition as prescribed.
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE guidelines to ensure safety.
• Document care and communicate with care team and family.

• Required Skills: Administration of chemotherapy, Care and management of ports, Fractures, Insertion and management of indwelling urinary catheter, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Pediatric MedSurg, Pediatric oncology, Renal failure, TPN/Lipids, Wound assessment/care, Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Infection Prevention, Insulin administration, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Seizure disorders, Starting and maintaining IVs
