Aya Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a NICU registered nurse for immediate per diem shifts in Portland, OR. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to maintain clinical expertise across varied hospital settings while preserving work-life balance.

You will handle NICU-specific care, including critical assessments, patient/family teaching, and medications under supervision. Shifts are paid at $900 each, with benefits enrollment available where applicable.

• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Arterial line management, Assist with lumbar puncture, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Developmental Care, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), High Frequency Ventilation, Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Management of Chest Tubes, Meconium Aspiration, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, NICU IV, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oxygen Delivery Systems, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Blood glucose monitoring, Bubble CPAP, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Gastroschisis/Omphalocele, ICP monitoring, Oscillators, Patient/family teaching, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Post interventional cardiac catheterization, Pre-Cardiac Surgery, Surfactants, Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), Tracheostomy care/management, Ventricular Peritoneal (VP) Shunts, Post Abdominal Surgery, Respiratory distress syndrome, Seizure disorders, Sepsis Work Up, Starting and maintaining IVs, Steroids, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Thermoregulation, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
