Aya Healthcare is recruiting a per diem Critical Care Float Registered Nurse in Fredericksburg, VA. Shifts are days with 12-hour blocks (07:00–19:30) on a 13-week assignment, starting 10/27/2026. Openings: 2.

Epic charting, 1 year of RN CCU experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS required, VA or Compact license with rapid processing. Enjoy flexible scheduling and dedicated credentialing support.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience in acute/critical care settings.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required.
• VA license or Compact licensure; quick-state license process.

  • Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Emergency Medications, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Post Craniotomy, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Ventilator Management
