Internal Medicine rate: $160.58/hr

Job summary

UC San Diego Health CommUnity Care is recruiting for a Per Diem Primary Care Physician—up to 40% FTE—to fill in for vacations and leaves across multiple outpatient locations in San Diego County, with some tele-visit coverage. This role does not include an academic appointment.

Responsibilities center on covering scheduled physician vacations and leaves in outpatient settings with competitive hourly rates. Requires California medical license and outpatients experience.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Current California Medical License, or ability to obtain CA license prior to start date.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an outpatient setting.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care.
• Must be available for three consecutive weekdays during business hours (M-F 8:00am-5:00pm).

Responsibilities

• Will serve as a Per Diem Primary Care Physician, primarily covering Primary Care scheduled physician vacations and scheduled leaves.
