Job summary

Kinwell Health is seeking a Per Diem Primary Care Physician to join our Olympia, WA clinic. The role emphasizes high-quality, relationship-based care with emphasis on continuity and patient education.

You will provide care for acute and chronic needs, support wellness through counseling, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires Washington licensure by hire, board readiness in Family/IM/Med-Peds, DEA/NPI, and the ability to work at least one weekday.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible to practice in Washington by hire date.
• Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds.
• Unrestricted DEA and NPI.
• Credentialing with Medicare.
• Flexible scheduling and weekday availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum primary care in a clinic setting for acute and chronic needs.
• Counsel patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Specialists, Pharmacists, Nurses and other healthcare professionals in person or via telehealth.
• Perform minor outpatient procedures per credentialing/privileging policy.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.

This is where you come in.*What you’ll do:** Provide care for a full spectrum primary care clinic, taking care of acute and chronic care needs.* Be curious in an effort to keep more care in primary care; solve problems, answer questions, and spend quality time in service of learning on behalf of your patients.* Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow up as appropriate during each patient visit.* Collaborate with other Physicians, Specialists, Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals in person or by video in the best interest of patients.* Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with credentialing/privileging policy.* Complete timely and accurate documentation.*What you'll bring:** Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date.* Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds.* Unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.* Ability to be credentialed under Medicare.* Flexibility with scheduling to cover varying clinic shifts.* Able to consistently work at least one day Monday through Friday.* Proficient in use of the EMR, with Epic experience strongly preferred.* Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving and communication skills.**Working Environment**This position operates in a clinic environment, providing both in person and telehealth care. Collaboration with various healthcare providers is routine, and participation in wellness programs may also be required.**Physical Requirements**Ability to work in a clinical environment, interact with patients for prolonged periods, and perform duties requiring a high level of concentration and emotional resilience.**Vaccine Requirement:**Kinwell Health currently requires all teammates to provide proof of or complete a written attestation of a religious or medical exemption for influenza and Hepatitis B vaccines.
