Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a physician per diem to join our outpatient care teams in Cincinnati, OH (with coverage also in Erlanger, KY).

The role focuses on occupational health and urgent care, providing professional medical care during 8a-5p shifts and requiring a minimum of 4-6 shifts per month. Candidates must hold an unrestricted medical license, a DEA license, DOT/FMCSA certification, and be eligible for Medicare enrollment.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction.
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction.
• DOT/FMCSA certification – active or willing to get during credentialing.
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
• Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical assessment of Center patients
• Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for center patients
• Maintains clinical core competency
• Works with Center Medical Director to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards in occupational medicine and standards of Association and Concentra.
• Effectively communicates with all patients, clients, supervisors and peers while incorporating Orange Book values
• Listens to and understands internal and external client needs in order to act and address -
