North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The role supports a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized rehabilitation plans and one-on-one therapy sessions to a diverse patient population.

The PTA will assist therapists with evaluations, treatment planning, and hands-on therapy, while educating patients on body mechanics and injury prevention. Compensation is $40/hour with per diem scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation of rehab programs
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and activities to improve ROM, strength, and flexibility
• Teach patients and families proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and health promotion strategies
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and policies
