Job summary

North Lake Care Center in Lake Park, Florida is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our per diem team. You will provide high-quality therapy services to residents under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, helping them regain mobility after illness, injury, or surgery.

Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Florida licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and rehabilitation programs.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Document patient progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
