North Lake Care Center in Lake Park, Florida is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our per diem team. You will provide high-quality therapy services to residents under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, helping them regain mobility after illness, injury, or surgery.
Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a per diem basis at our Lake Park, Florida facility. As a Physical Therapy Assistant at North Lake Care Center, you will play a vital role in helping our residents recover from illness, injury, or surgery, and regain their strength and mobility.
Provide high-quality physical therapy care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Assist patients with exercises, stretching, and range of motion activities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment protocols and policies
Assist with patient care and rehabilitation programs
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement and monitor treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current Florida licenses as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Work in a dynamic and compassionate environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals
