Job summary

Geisinger Viewmont Clinic is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will aid in patient rehabilitation through modalities, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional activities.

You will support treatment implementation, educate patients and families, and help with discharge planning while documenting outcomes in our clinical system.

Qualifications

• Must complete a Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Must hold a Pennsylvania PA state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing a physical therapy treatment plan under supervision.
• Educate patient and family on home exercises and safety.
• Prepare patients and equipment for treatment.
• Document patient status and progress per policy.
