Job summary

Penn Medicine’s Acute Rehab unit is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Aide to support daily activities and assist the professional staff in patient care. The role requires weekday availability and one Saturday per month, with attendance at new employee orientation on Monday.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• CPR certification required
• HS Diploma/GED is required; experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintains rehab services equipment and assists in the Rehab Services office.
• Assists in upkeep of the Rehab Services Department.
• Assists therapists and therapist assistant in patient treatment.
• Supports patient care and service improvement goals within and outside the department.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
