Job summary

Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist to assess residents, plan care, and provide direct treatment within a multidisciplinary team.

You will also train caregivers, supervise staff, and participate in program development while maintaining regulatory compliance and resident privacy. The role offers up to $55 per hour with weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Ability to interact effectively with staff and customers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Documentation of activities and adherence to policies.
• Ability to manage time and handle stress.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents and evaluates them to develop care plans.
• Provides direct resident treatment according to established plan of care.
• Contributes to team meetings and decision-making processes.
• Trains patients, residents, and caregivers in care aspects.
• Monitors documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in program development and implementation.
• Participates in training of staff, students, and volunteers.
• Engages in census building and marketing activities.
• Ensures privacy practices and protects resident information.
