Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a per diem Licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages. You will perform PT evaluations, develop measurable goals, administer treatment, and participate in discharge planning.

Must hold a PA state license in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor's degree; BLS certification within 30 days. This role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and collaborative care with the Geisinger team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• License/Certification: Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification within 30 days after start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs PT evaluations and treatments per policy and patient needs.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plans.
• Administers PT programs and discharge planning responsibilities.
• Maintains legible documentation consistent with policy.
• Promotes patient, employee, and visitor safety at all times.
• Participates in department and interdepartmental operations.
