Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to render evaluations and treatments for patients of all ages in a clinical setting. You will assess needs, establish goals, and develop effective plans while performing discharge tasks and maintaining thorough documentation.

Responsibilities include safety, collaboration with departments, and delivering quality care consistent with Geisinger policies. A PA PT license and Bachelors in Physical Therapy are required; BLS within 30 days is also

Qualifications

• Must hold a PA License in Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
• Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs Physical Therapy evaluations according to policy and patient needs.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plans.
• Administers an effective physical therapy program.
• Performs discharge planning and ensures proper documentation.
• Maintains patient, employee, and visitor safety at all times.
• Contributes to efficient departmental operations.
