Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Peoria, AZ, in partnership with Select Medical, is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Per Diem schedule. The role involves inpatient rehabilitation of patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, and traumas.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, goal setting, treatment plan development, supervision of PTAs and students, and discharge planning with education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) is required.
• Certified BLS is required or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Develop and modify treatment plans.
• Supervise PTAs and PT/PTA students as assigned.
• Document treatment and progress according to policy.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Engage in continuing education seminars and in-services.
