Hartford HealthCare’s Windham Hospital is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join the acute care team. Flexible scheduling includes weekend and holiday coverage, with evening/weekday shifts a plus.

The PT will evaluate patients, determine treatment plans, and administer or supervise therapy to maximize functional independence. Prior acute care experience and CT PT license are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Must have Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent credential.
• CT PT license current and active required.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

• Perform thorough examination/evaluation of patient function.
• Establish measurable goals with patient/family.
• Deliver or supervise PT interventions and patient care.
• Educate patient and caregiver about treatment and equipment use.
• Coordinate transitions and discharge planning with care team.
• Supervise PT students and support staff as needed.
