Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment per NY State standards. You will supervise PTAs and students while embracing a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care.

The role requires a B.S. in Physical Therapy, NY license, and a willingness to work days with variable hours. A Masters is preferred, and familiarity with general therapeutic equipment is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate.
• Masters Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment per NY State Act and Hospital policies.
• Provides daily clinical supervision to PTAs, Rehabilitation Aides and students.
• Embraces the team concept of the department and customer service approach to patient care.
