Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care, evaluation and treatment in line with the NYS Practice Act and hospital policy. The role includes daily supervision of PTAs and students and emphasizes a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Minimum B.S.

in Physical Therapy is required; Master’s degree preferred. Active NY license or limited permit for recent graduates is required, along with knowledge of general therapeutic

• Masters Degree is preferred.
• New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate.
• Knowledge of General Therapeutic Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of the New York State Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital Policy.
• Provides daily clinical supervision to P.T.A.’s, Rehabilitation Aides and students.
• Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.
