Job summary

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years in laboratory/phlebotomy work, knowledge of specimen handling, and comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years laboratory/phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and respect for diverse patients.
• Familiarity with CLIA-waved tests and specimen handling.
• Experience entering lab orders electronically and on paper.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing for in-house testing and send-outs.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification electronically or on paper.
• Enter lab orders in-house and for send-outs; maintain accurate records.
• Assist CLS with QA activities and training of new staff in phlebotomy and specimen processing.
