Qualifications

• PBT (ASCP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens via venipuncture and skin puncture per physician orders, ensuring complete and accurate specimens.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Identifies patient, explains procedures, and performs phlebotomy duties.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and uses appropriate equipment and practices.
• Obtains specimens, labels, and transports them to the designated area.
• Prepares specimens for processing and completes related paperwork.
