Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a Per Diem Phlebotomist to join our Milwaukee team. This on-site, part-time role supports our patient journey with venipuncture, sample labeling, and safe, accurate handling of specimens.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, ensuring infection control, and collaborating with lab staff to deliver timely results. Competitive hourly pay and benefits available. Shifts are mornings as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program or nationally recognized phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP, NHA, AMT) preferred.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples from patients.
• Identify patients, label samples, and document accurately.
• Prepare and transport samples for lab testing following protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following infection control standards.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during procedures.
• Monitor and maintain phlebotomy supply inventory.
• Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure timely results.
• Adhere to all lab policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
